Best Keyword Clustering Tools
Below we’ll review 3 major keyword clustering tools that use live SERP results to group keywords.
KeywordsPeopleUse
KeywordsPeopleUse offers traditional SERP clustering combined with different keyword research workflows. You can choose between researching for keywords or questions, getting search volume or uploading your own keyword data.
KeywordsPeopleUse implements a unique Dynamic Link Intersects feature which you can use to tailor cluster size on the fly to find what works best for you.
Once the clustering is done, you can preview the results using the Clusters tab, download the results as a CSV file or explore using the graphically rich interactive visualization.
Additionally, you can use the Crawl Data tab for performing competitor research. It lists top ranking domains together with unique urls and queries, and topical authority score for each one of them.
Features:
- Keyword Clustering
- Keyword Research
- Clustering Workflows
- Dynamic Link Intersects
- AI SEO Assistant

Keyword Insights
Keyword Insights supports both uploading your own keyword data, and performing keyword discovery. If you use built-in keyword research functionality, you will need to spend additional credits for every keyword to get search volume.
Once clustering is done, you can generate a content brief for the cluster, and then use an AI writer to generate a full article. Relying heavily on AI article generation is something we’d suggest you approach with caution due to Google’s warnings about how it regards automatically generated content. Instead we’d suggest you check out our tutorial on How to find content opportunities.
Additionally, Keyword Insights provides a list of top ranking domains together with their domain authority and cluster visibility percentage.
Features:
- Keyword Clustering
- Keyword Discovery
- Content Brief Generator
- AI Writing Assistant
- Crawl Data/Competitor Research

Keyword Cupid
Keyword Cupid primarily focuses on keyword clustering, and doesn’t support keyword research or any other advanced SEO features.
In our tests, uploading a simple csv with the keyword list didn’t work due to a parsing error, so we had to paste them manually.
Clustering of 89 keywords with Keyword Cupid took 29 minutes. For comparison, KeywordPeopleUse clusters the same list under 1 minute.
Unfortunately, Keyword Cupid doesn’t provide a list of the scraped SERP urls, so it’s not clear how it came up with the clusters. For example, Keyword Cupid put “writerzen” and “topical authority” keywords under the “how to use ahrefs for keyword research” cluster. This is a clear mistake as these keywords have no SERP urls in common.
